The Legal 500
Serle Court mediators have mediated disputes in and across several different jurisdictions, and often mediate in multi-party disputes.

Mediation

Our mediators bring to the mediation process the skills which they have honed in their legal practices, including thorough preparation and objective risk analysis, commercial awareness and in-depth knowledge of chancery and commercial litigation.

The disputes they mediate reflect the wide range of practice areas at Serle Court, including company law, contractual disputes, charities, employment, private client trusts and probate, banking and financial services, regulation, competition, intellectual property, private international law, fraud, partnership and property.  Our mediators have been directory ranked in many of these areas, and they are familiar with the legal and practical issues that arise.

Serle Court mediators have mediated disputes across several jurisdictions and often mediate in multi-party disputes.  A number of mediators are also happy to act as co-mediators in difficult multi-party negotiations. Many have become practised at conducting online mediation.

Elizabeth Jones KCBeverly-Ann RogersPaul Johnson and Jennifer Haywood are all ranked in Legal 500's Hall of Fame for Mediators.  The Hall of Fame highlights individuals who have received consistent praise from their clients for continued excellence.

Our mediators and other members can also assist with neutral evaluations.

Serle Court clerks are highly responsive, well-versed in mediation and experts in supporting clients through the logistics of the mediation process from first enquiry to a successful conclusion.

In particular, they:

  • Appreciate the sensitivities and confidentiality of mediation;
  • Recognise that whether it is a multi-million-pound dispute or small in value, it is of vital importance to the parties and their lawyers;
  • Have a detailed knowledge of our Mediators’ practices which means they can recommend the best mediators for the parties and their dispute;
  • Can help with logistics, including the mediation agreement, fees, timing, exchange of position statements and venues.

Please contact the Practice Managers to discuss your requirements.
